SWEET SLAG "Tracking With Close Ups", rare ONE&ONLY album by this british band from 1971. Here the 100% U.K. ORIGINALPRESSING (2nd pressings not exist) on the PRESIDENT label with the catnr. PTLS 1042. Record is cleaned with V.P.I. cleaning machine and audio checked: S. 2 with a unremovable stain on track two, which causes some "woohhssshs", those are a couple of times notable, but not to loud, further S. 2 has a couple of small marks and a couple of tiny small hairlines which causes a couple of slight clicks, just notable in some of the quieter passages. S.2 visual in very good, but plays very good+ and better. S.1 is much better; has a non audible, very small pressure fault at beginning of track one and just a couple of slight, tiny surface hairlines, looks very good+ and plays much better for the most. The heavy vinyl plays pressureful and with excellent dynamic throughout, good pressing and good recording, NO trash, NO skips or stucks, a couple of slight clicks and a couple of slight crackles in the quieter parts are notable, rest is really acceptable. The record isn´t overplayed and the labels are clean, so I give a general very good+ (vg+) therefor. The non-laminated, and very sensitive TEXTURED sleeve, has slightest ringwear on front bottom further 2 small teartags (front), also the inevitable seamwear, otherwise clean, WITHOUT splits, writings, tapes or stamps, in excellent (Ex, sticker with GER catnr. on rearsleeve top right corner) condition. Extremely rare in my opinion, one of the TOP 50 Prog records at all! "Rain Again" and "World of Ice" are two TIMELESS&UNIQUE PROG-PSYCH-PEARLS, the rest is hard GUITAR-BLUES-PROG in ELIAS HULK or JAKLIN vein ..................................... HIGHLY recommendable ....................
