After her stint in the short-lived Quebec Garage/Yé-Yé mid-60's girlie group Les Beatlettes, bassist Helen (Hélène) Duguay signed with eclectic producer Ben Kaye who re-packaged her with his new protogés......the all-female garage-psych-soul "Sweet Somethings" ....with awesome musicianship from Margie Duplessis (lead guitar), Rosy Lang (organ) and Linda Thompson (drums).
The girls released just one long play....but what an album ! This is great modern soul-infested garage rock with flair.
Labels (no markings, stains or tears)...NM
Vinyl (light hairlines, inaudible scuff & 2 tiny white marks (paint droplets ?) side 2, one produces only the slightest whisper during play)...VG++
Cover (solid...absolutely no splits or markings, minimal wear, tiny coh)...EX
