Description

Long Out of print, Swervedriver's final Lp from 1998 with the bonus 7 inch that came with it. Released on the defunct Zero Hour records. Vinyl is Near-Mint and the Cover is Excellent. 7 inch is Near-Mint.  I will also be listing Swervedriver's 1st Lp, Raise.

Notes: The band who brought the car song into the shoegaze era, Swervedriver was formed in Britain in 1990 by vocalists/guitarists Adam Franklin and Jimmy Hartridge, bassist Adi Vines, and drummer Graham Bonner. Fusing the swirling textures of the shoegazer aesthetic with the more traditional boundaries of pop, the group debuted with a series of brilliant EPs — Son of Mustang Ford, Rave Down, and Sandblasted — before issuing their full-length debut, Raise, in 1991. After a U.S. tour in support of Soundgarden, Bonner left the band, followed quickly by the departure of Vines; 1992's Never Lose That Feeling EP, their strongest effort to date, initially appeared to mark the group's swan song. But in 1993, Swervedriver returned; with the core of Franklin and Hartridge rounded out by new drummer Jez, they released their sophomore LP Mezcal Head. An import-only release, Ejector Seat Reservation, followed in 1995; in the fall of 1998, Swervedriver resurfaced with their fourth effort, 99th Dream. The Wrong Treats EP followed in 1999. Bonner and Vines, meanwhile, continued as Skyscraper. Adam Franklin recorded as Toshack Highway.

** I will be listing a ton of great Lps and CDs (plus a few odds and ends) over the next few weeks. Lots of Punk, Post Punk, Indie, Psych, Rock, Jazz, Soul etc. I also combine shipping if you buy more than 1 item. **

PAYMENT: I accept Paypal, Checks and other forms of payment that Ebay won't let me list since they own Paypal and want you to use it. Greedy, greedy. International bidders must use paypal or contact me if you want to pay in other forms.

GRADING: I ususally only Use Near-Mint (Like New), Excellent (Close to Near-Mint but maybe a few slight marks on the vinyl or general shelfwear to the cover) and Very Good (don't sell VG records unless they are older or hard to find - some may fall in between VG and Excellent and I'll try to note this. Sometimes I'll play the lp first if I think it may be VG or in between VG and Excellent.
