Tracks from the start of the ‘British Beat Boom’ 1963/4. In 1961, Cavern DJ Bob Wooler, compiled a Top 10 list of the best Liverpool groups, he placed The Beatles at No.1 but beneath his list he added ‘excluding the Bluegenes, they are beyond comparison, in a class of their own’.

Record has a few marks, not too serious, so a little crackle audible. Cleaned on my vinyl machine it plays very well and the music cuts through fine. Sleeve is very good with original price label on back.
