Pleased to offer this nice condition, exceedingly rare, original first UK Decca stereo pressing.


This is Beethoven Symphony No. 5/Egmont Oversture. 1E/1E matrices.

Conducted by Ernest Amsermet.

Decca SXL 2003... The original 1958 blue border back pressing.


This is the very first release of SXL 2003, with the blue border to the rear of the sleeve and ED1 (Original Recording By..) to the top of the label with the deep groove running around the inner circumference. Stamper codes are ZAL-4075– 1E & ZAL-4076 – 1E.


Record VG+/EX-

An extremely enjoyable player, with only a bit of background noise, during the quietest sections. Sounds excellent, if not quite pristine.


Sleeve EX+

Beautifully preserved, this cover presents wonderfully. Please do see the photos.


Original Decca sleeve is also present, in excellent condition.
