Rare Decca SXL 2005 EXC ++ WBG label EXC+ 1959  Blueback cover!!

Professionally cleaned, treated with LAST Record Preserver and FULLY Test played. This is definitely the first  label for this LP ('Original Recording' at 10 o'clock also 4E/ 4E stampers)

Downgraded to Excellent++ Only due to some light hairline scuffs in bright sunlight, and a couple of small pressing bubbles, even if they were there when it WAS MINT!! . The LP is clean and quiet in all other aspects.  ! Super quiet vinyl , everywhere else besides one of the pressing bubbles play half a dozen light background  "Whhh", my description of the noise from the stylus as it rides the small bump, not a treble frequency TIC , but a bass frequency "Whh" vinyl plays generally without much sign of wear, no background static throughout, as some apparantly clean LP's do.

COVER   EXC+ February 1959  printed Blueback Scalloped flipback cover (back is laminated), which I find on most blue back covers prior to 1960

COVER Only downgraded due to lifted, but not torn laminate, bottom right corner and small bubble in top right, caused by minor corner bending with the LP still in the cover , (laminated rear is good!) Very slight ringwear on reverse, only seen in angled light on laminate. Flipback seams near opening edge have lifted at some time, but are glued down now, still some creases in the seam showing where it had liftred back to (3cm both seams)

Rarely ever seen in Australia.  LP test played after wet wash bath, treated with LAST.  'Last' record Preservative. (archive quality Vinyl preserver, said to minimise play related wear for upto 200 'plays')

LP Condition (see photo's) EXC++. I am listening to it to test play as I write this listing.  Only a few very light NON sounding paperscuffs in sunlight only, and beautiful, like new gloss on the vinyl. 

  Very minor Rotational spindle marks, indicating it has been played rarely. and looked after Original FFSS lined sleeve is N/MINT, but MFSL ANTI scratch/static sleeve included, to help preserve current condition

(see photo's) rated 'EXC+'.  ONLY DOWNGRADED FROM NEAR MINT DUE TO  lifted laminate bubbles on front, also slight feathering to opening edge.

NO SEAM SPLITS, TEARS or edge wear. ALL FLIPBACK SEAMS STILL GLUED DOWN (some repair near opening edge evident) AND NOT TORN .(SEE PHOTOS ) .

Cover shows LIGHT ring wear, all is visible in photo's, take my word for it, for 50 yrs old it is  well preserved. (1959 on FLIPBACK COVER REAR)
