 READ MY DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY, Winning bidder will be asked if they have seen the photo's of the mark on 2nd movement, and heard the sound sample on that section, (get the hint, look and listen, before you leap into bidding......just recently some have done it in the wrong order..... )

This item regarded as a great collection filler and bulk postage item, but is not a "Keeper " Hence it will be the last item to finish in this weeks auctions, good pickup at the end to fill a parcel with. Great cover if you want one that's better than yours.

Important note for USA Domiciled buyers, ebay says post is limited to $4 , however because, it is coming from the 'Land Downunder' (No Vegemite stains on cover) OZ post airmail is comparatively expensive, that charge to the REAL post cost which is the second option on the invoice to the postage tab quote..........you know what I am saying  !!!!!. 

VG+ LP EXCEPT FOR A LONG MARK (PHOTO'S 10,11 AND 13) which you need to see and hear the effect of in the sound sample before bidding,  on 2nd movement (bruise or pressure mark, not like a normal scratch), The record  plays Cleanly with normal  occasional surface noise.  I would think  played, BUT NOT often   AT ALL . A few signs of spindle wear or rotational spindle mark, a little bit of dust, but not even many sunlight visible paper spiderline scuffs  (see Photo's)

This pressing made by Decca UK  is PRESSED IN England and is a first label WBG ED1 1958 dated Blue Back  flipback , laminated both sides.

side A run in finishes  at 1 minute 7 seconds  then transfer to that 2nd movement which has the long line across it, more like a pressure mark than a scratch in nature, this goes for a long 2 minutes of that tic infested section, about half of that movement replays soft to medium tics intermittantly and very repetetively tic sample finishes at 3 min 30 seconds then

Side B commences at  3 minutes 52 seconds,and completes the 5 minute 58second sample

Rest of LP plays as clean or better.  VERY annoying with that affected 2nd movement SO.....bid accordingly.

VG++BLUE Back Border  cover  dated Sept 1958

 NO  ringwear rubbing in reflective light  , not even much  embossing of lp in card front due to the very thin card used on this issue  Cover is laminated both sides.

Flipback seams PERFECT. NO OTHER rips, splits  or tears, also the rear laminated card is in clean condition with very minimal rubbing.

Only fault is the laminate both sides is lifting along the opening edge which is also just a LITTLE FLARED , as these early covers were laminated right to the edge, so they easily get THE LAMINATION to seperate after 50 years of inserting a record with fingers rubbing the laminate on insertion of the LP (SEE PHOTO"S  4 and 7)

BE aware the sound sample  IS A LOW SAMPLE RATE AND accentuates treble (Hence more static crackle that you DON'T hear through your Hi Fi) and is low quality, but you get the idea.
