Brahms - Symphony No. 1 In C Minor

(Decca SXL 2013 UK LP 1958)
This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a fully laminated flipback sleeve which has a blue border on the rear. There is also a printed date stamp on the bottom flipback (R.S. 8-58). This means that the sleeve was printed in August 1958. It comes with its original "FFSS" Stereophonic polythene-lined company inner sleeve.
The record has ED1 "wide band" Decca labels which are grooved also. They have the "Original Recordings By" text. It has first press ZAL-3787-1K and ZAL-3788-1K matrix numbers. This is a rare UK Stereo Classical LP. I have some other rare UK classical records for sale too.
Sleeve: There is some mild to moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips and sleeve opening. There is some light wear to the bottom flipback. There is some laminate peeling at the front sleeve opening. VG condition.
Vinyl: Light to very mild sleeve rubs can be viewed under a strong light, & one small hairline mark. There is also a minor warp which is noticeable on one side only. It does not affect playback. VG+ condition. The labels are in wonderful condition and show next to no spindle wear. I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Near Excellent overall and Excellent in some passages. There is some light or very mild crackle in a few of the quieter areas. The company inner sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some mild to more moderate fading but there are no seam splits.Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
