Wilhelm Kempff - Chopin Volume 2
(Decca SXL 2024 UK LP 1958)
This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a fully laminated flipback sleeve which has a blue border on the rear. There is also a printed date stamp on the bottom flipback (R.S. 12-58). This means that the sleeve was printed in December 1958. It comes with its original "FFSS" Stereophonic polythene-lined company inner sleeve.
The record has ED1 "wide band" Decca labels which are grooved also. They have the "Original Recordings By" text. It has first press ZAL-3993-1E and ZAL-3994-1K matrix numbers. This is a rare UK Stereo Classical LP. I have some other rare UK classical records for sale too.
Sleeve: There is a 12 cm area of moderate rubbing wear to the spine. There is a 4cm area of the bottom flipback which has been torn away too. VG condition.
Vinyl: Light to sleeve rubs can be viewed under a strong light. The polythene inner sleeve has left some very light to mild marks in some areas too. VG++ condition. The labels are in wonderful condition and show next to no spindle wear. I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light or mild crackle in some quieter passages. The company inner sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some mild wear but there are no seam splits.Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £8.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
