THERE ARE NUMEROUS SCARCE COLUMBIA, DECCA AND HMV EXAMPLES. PLEASE BARE IN MIND THAT THESE HAVE COME FROM A LIBRARY SO THE CONDITION WILL NOT BE FANTASTIC, ALTHOUGH SOME EXAMPLES ARE QUITE PLEASING. THESE AUCTIONS WILL HOPEFULLY GIVE PEOPLE THE OPPURTUNITY TO OBTAIN VERY SCARCE CLASSICAL RECORDS AT AFFORDABLE COMPETITIVE PRICES. Due to the condition, this record will be visually graded only.
Records- EX+ Solid examples that have been well preserved. They have retained a deep glossy shine throughout all the sides. In very strong bright light and at certain angles there are some inconsequential, wispy, inner sleeve marks in places. With a couple of minimal light non feeable marks and a few light, minimal hairlines again non feelable. On the whole very nice example of this highly sought after boxed set. Some labels attached to the labels with written numbers in places.
Due to this set of records being stored and largely unused for many years I would recommend a professional clean to enhance this fantastic example further.
Box-VG+
This box is solid and presents well. There is some light marks to the front, but nothing heavy or distracting, some edge rubbing and scuffs with a sticker top left corner. There is some minor edge/corner wear, with some light corner rubbing marks, three corners have split with some paper loss, with some edge scuffs noticed. There is a large library lending slip pasted to the back of the box, with a small split starting top edge of the back of the box. Solid and holding well nontheless.
Lovely clean fresh booklet libretto EX, with some mild handling marks, small number written top left corner area.
