Description

This Auction is for The Lp - Bizet - Carmen & L'Arlesienne Suites - Ernest Ansermet & L' Orchestre De La Suisse Romande. 

1958 Pressing on the Decca Records Label - SXL 2037 - Matrix No's ZAL 4095 3E & ZAL 4096 2E - Side 2 Has the Matrix No  4098 2E cancelled out.

Side 1: Carmen Suite.

Side2: L'Arlesienne Suite.  

Vinyl - Vg+ - Looks little played and retains a nice shine - some light surface marks on side 1 (not scratches) and it does have a couple of noticeable light hairlines on side 2: 

Side 1: Plays Very Good throughout - some very light static crackle and occasional light clicks heard in places but nothing major - no skips jumps etc.

Sleeve - Gd - Provided in original sleeve which shows some age related wear - it has a tear on the front sleeve at the bottom opening edge which has been taped over and also some discolouring  to the rear of sleeve - see pics.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
