Description

Decca Box set with libretto.  SXL 2054-5-6 Wide Band with groove.  

Puccini: Madama Butterfly  Cast includes Tebaldi and Bergonzi. Chorus and Orchestra of the Accademia di Santa Cecilia, Rome conducted by Tulio Serafin.

The vinyl surfaces are excellent.  (I test played the opera during the evening of 27th April)  There are no surface scratches, only a few very slight 'sleeving' marks, all non-sounding.   The records play faultlessy throughout.

Box and libretti in excellent condition.   Gold printing on spine is bold and intact - see photo.  Original Decca inner sleeves
