Description
Up for auction is the following 12" vinyl lp:
MENDELSSOHN -- A Midsummer Night's Dream
Performed by PETER MAAG, conducting The London Symphony Orchestra with Soloists and Chorus
LP was released in 1959 by The Decca Record Company Limited, London England.
This is the 1st edition wide band grooved copy! Stereo / Wide Band Labels
Dead Wax Information:
Side 1: ZAL-3559-2K/ Side 2: ZAL-3560-1E
Condition:
Vinyl record is in strong VG+ (Very Good+) visual grade condition with some mostly light surface scratches, with a long hairline surface scratch on Side 2 that does not affect play.
I listened to the whole recording and found that it plays very well, with bright vibrant sound, and only light surface noise is heard in portions.
I try to grade classical recordings conservatively directly under a bright lamp.
The Album Cover shows standard to moderate wear with some creases and light stains on back.
The binding is solid.
