Description

Decca Records stereo SXL 2060, first grooved wideband label disc has "Original Recording By..." at upper left.  Pressed in England.  Stampers are 2K 1E.  Earliest fully laminated flipback sleeve has blue border on the back.  One of the great Deccas.

Mendelssohn, "A Midsummer Night's Dream" Incidental Music.  Peter Maag conducts the London Symphony Orchestra, with sopranos Jennifer Vyvyan and Heather Harper, and the chorus of The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.  See pics for program details.

Disc NM, play-graded all the way through, plays great, with fantastic sound, jacket VG+
