Very rare 1st Edition of this stereophonic classic on the Decca Wide Band Grooved imprint with Blue Bordered rear.

GRADING
SLEEVE: VG+
The sleeve is in nice clean condition. The edges are sharp with no wear or damage. The front piece shows only a couple of laminate wrinkles. To the rear the top flipback shows a break to the left near the aperture (although the flipback is still attached to the rear of the sleeve). There is a small patch of laminate lift at this point. There is a ‘Spillers Records’ sticker to the bottom flipback (The stamp has been removed since photographing with no adverse effect).
RECORD: VG+
The record shows a few light sleeve removal marks and a couple of hairlines. There is a click for 6 revolutions right at the beginning of side one. Similarly there is some crackle for the first few seconds of side 2. There is some very light intermittent surface noise. This is only audible during a couple of passages and is well below the level of the music. A wonderful recording and a very listenable copy of this very rare and sought after record.

NEAR MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
