SMETANA 'MA VLAST (My Country): Cycle of Symphonic Poems' 1959 STEREO LP.
NB: This is part of a 2LP set and is record 2 only.

RAFAEL KUBELIK, Conductor.
Pressed in England and released on Decca SXL 2065.
First press Wide-band grooved label with 'Original recording by....' at 10 o'clock.
There are very few spider lines around the spindle holes.
Play grade is VG+/VG- .
All the musical passages play clearly and brightly. There are no sticks, skips, jumps, nor is there any evidence of groovewear.
There is some surface crackle in the run in areas which leaks into the beginning of side 1, it is also present in the first half of side 2 although, after the initial noticeable few minutes becomes much quieter and much of the latter half of the side would grade as EX.
When tilted under normal lighting conditions both sides appear to be unmarked except for just a few paper type marks on side 1.
When tilted under halogen lights there are only a few more marks visible on either sides.
Fully laminated sleeve grades as VG+.
Has a little laminate lifting near the 'DECCA' logo on the front bottom right & a small patch in teh front, top right.
Poly-lined 'FFSS' inner is clean but has creasing and on one side has tears off the die-cut hole (see photos).

I dispatch records in brand new, bought in mailers designed for the process. Before placing in the mailer I take LPs out of the sleeve place both in a polysleeve and between two card stiffeners and if there is a picture sleeve I place the LP in a plain sleeve to prevent knifing of the picture sleeve. [all this costs £0.80/single LP].
I USE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS AND USE A +/- WHERE I FEEL THAT IT'S APPROPRIATE.
(M) MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be mint.
(EX) EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.
(VG) VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
(G) GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
(F) FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
(P) POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
(B) BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
I normally ship within 1/2 working days of receipt of payment.
