SXL 2091 wb+g Ed.1 – RODRIGO / FALLA – YEPES / SORIANO / ARGENTA
1958 Decca stereo recording on original wideband +groove label Edition 1, catalogue number SXL 2091. Narciso Yepes playing Rodrigo’s Guitar Concerto and Gonzalo Soriano (piano) playing Falla’s Nights in the Gardens of Spain, both with the National Orchestra of Spain conducted by Ataulfo Argenta.
Side 1 (Rodrigo) has occasional inaudible "smudge" marks and one very light scratch on track 2 which produces 4 audible ticks. Side 2 has no visible marks but there ia a momentary "growl" on track 1 and 5 barely audible ticks on track 2 (possibly static). The thin card sleeve is intact but is discoloured and has edge/corner wear with some tiny nicks at opening edges.
