Description
Artist: Ernest Ansermet conducts the L'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande
Title: Tchaikovsky ~ Swan Lake
Label and Catalog #: Decca SXL 2107-8
LP condition: Both LPs are vg+ with scuffs and a few light scratches. As with most used vinyl, they could use a cleaning. There was some surface noise in two of the quieter passages, but the sonics were great for most the listen.
Cover condition: The original top loading gatefold softcover is vg as there is heavy wear on the bottom seams. There are no seam splits. The inner 4 page insert has become detached from the middle of the cover, but is still present.
The labels are black and silver “Original recording by….” wide band and grooved as for ED1. Complete with an original poly-lined Decca inner sleeve.
All records are visually graded unless noted.
Grading Standards
Near Mint (nm) Almost New. Might have a slight paper scuff or one non-sounding hairline. Plays with no noise that is due to visible imperfections. Highest grade I use.
Very Good++ (Vg++) Very Clean Records, Well taken care of. Just a couple light scuffs or hairlines. Plays extremely well.
Very Good+ (Vg+) Well taken care of. A few scuffs, possibly a few light scratches and marks. Minimum of distracting noise.
Very Good (Vg) Not especially well taken care of, but not abused either. Light scratches, scuffs and marks. Plays with some background noise but is still enjoyable and collectible. Some gloss. I normally do not sell records in this condition
