I have been selling off lately my prized classical collection. Now I'm selling off a collection acquired by a Decca engineer who used to work for the company in the 50's through to the 70's. I acquired this collection 7 years ago from an auction in London and I have never played them since, only to test of course. Due to a family illness, I have to start thinking about the future hence the reason for selling my records. I will combine postage and all airmail orders WILL be sent registered. This is not negotiable. I will also be selling off Living Stereo test pressings, more SXL test pressings and SXL recordings with the London label still attached.

THERE IS NO SLEEVE WITH THIS ITEM. Two records, one side of each is blank. Housed in a card sleeve ( original ).

The matrix numbers are ZAL 3855 1D and ZAL 3855 2E. The traditional Pink and blue test pressing label. There are two records, but only one side has the recording. The other side is a blank side "backing plate". The number "1" is at 9 o clock on the run off on both records and the letter "b" on both at 3 o clock. BUCKINGHAM so b is 1.



The record has a lovely shine with only ever so light handling wear and minor scuffing, but no scratches that cause interference. I would grade as Excellent and of course the sound is clear. But I'm sure others would grade higher. Both could do with a clean and I do not have a cleaner. They have been stored and cared upright.
