Beethoven - Symphony No. 4 in B flat Major, Op. 60

(Decca SXL 2116 UK LP 1959)

 

This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve. There is a printed date stamp on the sleeve. (A.W. 59.6). This means that the sleeve was printed in June 1959. It comes with its original "FFSS" Stereophonic polythene-lined company inner sleeve. 

The record has ED1 "wide band" Decca labels which are grooved also. They have the "Original Recordings By" text. It has ZAL-4236-1E and ZAL-4237-3E matrix numbers. This is a rare UK Stereo Classical LP. I have some other rare UK classical records for sale too.

 

Sleeve: This sleeve has suffered some water wear at some point. This has affected the spine area on both sides. The bottom left corner tip has been torn away, & there is another small tear at the spine also. Otherwise fine. Good condition.

Vinyl: Light to very mild sleeve rubs can be viewed under a strong light. There are two very light hairline marks also. VG++ condition. The labels are in wonderful condition and show minimal spindle wear. I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall. There is some very light crackle in a few quieter areas. The company inner sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some light to mild wear but no seam splits.

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).

Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £8.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

 

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
