RARE BLACK/SILVER DECCA ED1 WBg RELEASE FROM 1958 WITH "ORIGINAL RECORDING" TEXT AT 10 O'CLOCK CAT. NO. SXL 2116.
SOUND IS SUPERB AS YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM THESE EARLY DECCA VALVE RECORDINGS. THE DISC IS EASILY EXCELLENT +, IF I AM FUSSY THERE IS SOME MINIMAL VERY FAINT CRACKLE.. HARDLY WORTH MENTIONING, AND IT CERTAINLY DOES NOT DETRACT FROM THE MAJESTIC SOUND OF THIS RECORDING. THE SLEEVE, ONE OF THOSE FLIMSY 1950'S ONES, IS EXCELLENT ++ WITH NO TEARS NO WRITING NO FOLDS

NEAR MINT audio inspection has revealed no scratches or scuffs on the playing surface. The record may have been played but is undamaged. The jacket will be clean and unmarked with only the slightest wear.
EXCELLENT audio inspection has revealed no sounding scratches on the playing surface, but there may be a few light crackles or LIGHT tics but nothing serious. The jacket might have slight wear and/or creasing or fading.
VERY GOOD audio inspection has revealed some light scratches and/or heavier scuffs - causing the odd bit of crackle/tics but nothing serious.
