SOUND SAMPLE AUTO STARTED WHEN YOU OPENED THE PAGE, TURN UP THE VOLUME... and have a READ .   

  NM replay full test

1ST Wide Band Grooved, March 1960 dated Scallop flipback , 1ED "Original Recording by",at 10 O'clock. When I test played it, unwashed as per the sound sample, the spindle was TIGHT, had to push it down onto the platter.........very little play use I think, and unwashed, no tics or even background static. 53 yrs old and the disc looks and plays like new. 

Cover just has a few edge creases, I was tempted to call it NM but lets just add lots of +++++++after VG !. 

SOUND SAMPLE GUIDE, THE first run in  track on side A for 2  MINUTES 30 secnds, then a short silence while I return to opening track side B at 2 minutes 45 seconds.  which then completes the 5 minute sample. 

This Lp probably only occasionally  played, spindle hole was tight to push down on the platter. Glossy vinyl, but has a few very fine cover scuffs,  it is a 'quiet music' recording so exceptional replay and hard to geet this clean for such soft music.

COVER is one of those early 'floppy' SXL cover and has has some wear and tear, see all photo's,   No real  ring wear, more just embossing into the light card,  flipbacks are as new, and not even stained with dirt rubbing on the glue edges as others often do   VG+++++++++++ (very nice for age )

 THE EDGE OF EACH SIDE is sampled due to being where most needle drop or damage from scratches is most likely, THE RECORD PLAYS VERY CLEANLY ONLY OCCASIONAL UNREPETETIVE PIPS, ONLY HAS brightsunlight  light visible spiderlines  BUT NOTHING SHOWS worse than the odd sparse pip and tick in full replay.

SOUND SAMPLE IS LOW RESOLUTION AND HAS A TREBLE BIAS, SO SOME CRACKLE IS MORE PROMINANT THAN PLAYED ON GOOD SYSTEM. NO THIS 192KBPS SAMPLE ISN'T HIGH QUALITY AUDIO, JUST PROVIDED TO HELP SHOW HOW CLEAN THE lp REPLAYS

LP OUTER COVER,( VG++++++ NOT a blue border  flipback) unlaminated rear card, is still white,,and usually by this age signigicant yellowing is more normally evident

THE other  EDGES ARE ALL VERY NEAT WITH NO SIGN OF RUBBING OR SPLITTING, ALTHOUGH THERE ARE SOME FLEX CRACKS IN THE EDGES.RINGWEAR NOT VISIBLE IN REFLECTIVE LIGHT. but more an embossing of the LP shape in the thin cover card than actual rubbing of the laminate.  Rear unlaminated card MINIMALLY yellowed.

COVER CONDITION   VG+++++There is light almost no visible ring wear, more just the embossing of the circle of the lp in the soft card cover, and it is quite neat. No seam splits REAR unlaminated card is extremely clean, and all scallop flipback seams are like new, (Notice not even any browning to the flipback seam edges as most of them do)

Only minor blemishes are -

1. Some small laminate damage near edges (see top left corner) and a small chip in laminate above "M" of "Members".

2. A FEW VERY SMALL CREASES IN LAMINATE NEAR EDGES DUE TO BEING FLEXED WITHOUT THE RECORD INSIDE.

Yes I have  fully test played this without washing it it was so clean
