SOUND SAMPLE AUTO STARTED WHEN YOU OPENED THE PAGE, TURN UP THE VOLUME... and have a READ .   

  1ST Wide Band Grooved, May 1960, 1ED "Original Recording by",at 10 O'clock

SOUND SAMPLE GUIDE, THE first run in  track on side A for 2  MINUTES 30 secnds, then a short silence while I return to opening track side B at 2 minutes 45 seconds.  which then completes the 5 minute sample. 

This Lp probably only occasionally  played, Glossy vinyl, but has a few very fine cover scuffs, which after washing are the only possible source of the occasional quiet pips that are audible, but it is a 'quiet music' recording so those little minor tics show up that wouldn't on a louder recording.vinyl shows signs of being handled but also cared for in general handling for being 52 Yr old,(same as me but this looks better than me for its age!!!) and a few spindle marks on each label.

A really good filler LP until a NM one comes along, I would rate the replay as VG++++++++++ (its that good)

COVER is one of those early 'floppy' SXL cover and has has some wear and tear, see all photo's, One small tear/corner rounding in bottom opening edge  0.5cm that split really associated with some corner rounding and only just visible in the final photo.  No real  ring wear, more just embossing into the ligh card,  flipbacks have some re glueing on bottom seam, whoever did it didn't do a very good job, some clear glue showing  on rear card near scallop at bottom, but still glued down.   VG+++++++++++ (very nice for age )  Also a pen marking on top of rear card above title, see photo 6.

 THE EDGE OF EACH SIDE is sampled due to being where most needle drop or damage from scratches is most likely, THE RECORD PLAYS VERY CLEANLY ONLY OCCASIONAL UNREPETETIVE PIPS, ONLY HAS bright light visible spiderlines VISIBLE PAPER SCUFFS. BUT NOTHING SHOWS worse than a bit of occasional crackle and the odd sparse pip and tick in full replay.

SOUND SAMPLE IS LOW RESOLUTION AND HAS A TREBLE BIAS, SO SOME CRACKLE IS MORE PROMINANT THAN PLAYED ON GOOD SYSTEM. NO THIS 192KBPS SAMPLE ISN'T HIGH QUALITY AUDIO, JUST PROVIDED TO HELP SHOW HOW CLEAN THE lp REPLAYS

LP OUTER COVER,( VG++++++ NOT a blue border  flipback) IS AGED BY  CORNER RUBS AND CORNER ROUNDING ON ALL CORNERS,  laminate on rear flipbacks is yellowed more than the unlaminated rear card, very different as it is usually the other way around!!!!

THE other  EDGES ARE ALL VERY NEAT WITH NO SIGN OF RUBBING OR SPLITTING, ALTHOUGH THERE ARE SOME FLEX CRACKS IN THE EDGES.RINGWEAR NOT VISIBLE IN REFLECTIVE LIGHT. but more an embossing of the LP shape in the thin cover card than actual rubbing of the laminate.  Rear unlaminated card MINIMALLY yellowed.

COVER CONDITION   VG+++There is light almost not visible ring wear,  and it is quite neat. No seam splits  Only minor blemishes are -

1.Corner rounding

2. A FEW VERY SMALL CREASES IN LAMINATE NEAR EDGES DUE TO BEING FLEXED WITHOUT THE RECORD INSIDE.

Yes I have  fully test played this after professionally washing it.
