This is a UK original ED1 Stereo LP pressing. It has a front laminated sleeve. It comes with its original  Stereophonic "FFSS" polythene-lined company inner sleeve. 

The record has ED1 "wide band" Decca labels which are grooved also. They have the "Original Recordings By" text. It has first press ZAL-4599-4D and ZAL-4600-2D matrix numbers. I have some other rare UK classical records for sale too.

 

Sleeve: There is some moderate rubbing wear to one corner tip at the sleeve opening. This has caused a small 0.5 cm seam split. There is some light ringwear and light fading to the rear. VG++ condition.

Vinyl: Light sleeve rubs can be viewed under a strong light. There are some light, or very minor, pressing marks in a couple of places. NEAR EX condition. The labels are in wonderful condition and show next to no spindle wear. I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG+ to Near Excellent overall. It even plays excellently in many places too. However, there is some light to mild crackle at the start of Side 1. It doesn't last very long. Otherwise, there is some light or very light crackle in a few quieter areas. The company inner sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some mild fading but there are no seam splits.

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).


Postage for 1 LP in the UK is £4.50. You can add one extra LP for free (up to the weight of 1kg).

Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £8.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.

 

Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
