Description

Stunning condition copy of this rare 1959 release on Decca Records (SXL 2207) with its original Wide Band & grooved label design with "Original Recording By..." rim text - ED1.  Sir Adrian Boult conducts the London Philharmonic Orchestra in performances Vaughan-Williams' Symphony No 8 in D minor and his Partiat for Double String Orchestra.

Condition is superb.  The sleeve is clean and crisp with no tears or seam splits and hardly any noticeable discolouration.  The rear sleeve has a small ink stamp saying "Guaranteed Secondhand Record - Perfect Condition"  Please note, this is not my stamp and not my guarantee but my usual no quibbles return policy does apply ! 

The vinyl is in near mint condition.  The surfaces are beautifully clean and glossy with no scratches, scuffs or abrasions.  Playback is excellent with scarcely any surface noise and no pops, ticks or clicks.  There are no skips or jumps either.
