Faure - Requiem Opus 48
Ernest Ansermet/ L'Orchestre De La Suisse Romande
(Decca SXL 2211 UK LP 1960)
This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve. It comes with its original "FFSS" Stereophonic polythene-lined company inner sleeve.
The record has ED1 "wide band" Decca labels which are grooved also. They have the "Original Recordings By" text. It has first press ZAL-2927-1M and ZAL-2928-1M matrix numbers. This is a rare UK Stereo Classical LP. I have some other rare UK classical records for sale too.
Sleeve: The laminate has lifted at the spine area on the rear sleeve. It has also peeled away on the front panel for the majority of the sleeve. There is some mild ringwear and fading too. VG condition.
Vinyl: Light to very mild sleeve rubs can be viewed under a strong light. NEAR EX condition. The labels are in excellent condition and show very light spindle wear only. I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Very Near Excellent to Excellent overall. There is some very light crackle in a very few quieter areas. The company inner sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some light to mild wear but there are no seam splits.Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).

Postage for 1 LP in Europe is £6.65 to £7.85 (depending on weight). Add £1.25 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Postage for 1 LP for the rest of the world is £8.75 to £11.50 (depending on weight). Add £2 for each additional LP up to 2kg.
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £20. Overseas buyers will add £5.50 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
