Description

Decca Records stereo SXL 2214, first grooved wideband label disc has "Original Recording By..." at upper left.  Pressed in England.  Stampers are 1D 2D.  Earliest laminated sleeve with scalloped flipbacks. 

Wilhelm Backhaus plays the Mozart piano concerto #27, with Karl Böhm and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchesttra.  Also includes the Mozart piano sonata #11, K. 331.  See pics for program details.

Disc NM- to NM, just a couple faint sleeve marks which have no effect on play.  Play-graded all the way through, plays beautifully.  Jacket VG++

Extremely rare as an SXL.
