La Suisse Romande L'Orchestre conducted by Ernest Ansermet play the Beethoven “Symphony No. 2” and the Overture “Leonora No.2”. An English stereo pressing on the Decca Label (SXL 2228(stampers 1E/1E) the record labels have a full frequency stereophonic wide band, ffss logo, “Original recording by...” at 10 o’clock and a groove. The record has some minor wear and is of otherwise very good appearance, and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The cover has some minor wear and the back cover has cutouts on the fold overs. The original inner bag is excellent.
