Description
Very nice condition copy of this 1960 release on Decca Records (SXL 2229) with the original Wide Band and grooved label and "Original Recording by..." rim text (ED1). Ernest Ansermet conducts the L'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande in performances of Mendelssohn's Incidental Music to "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and Shubert's Incidental Music to "Rosamonde"
Condition is Very fine. The sleeve is clean and glossy with no tears or seam splits just a couple of very minor creases.
The playing surfaces are visually in excellent condition with no obvious scratches or abrasions. There is a very faint "scuff" on side 1 but this does not seem to afffect playback which is very quiet (with great sound quality) just the faintest surface noise and no big pops, clicks or crackles and no jumps or skips.
