      1. SXL 2231 1ED UK Decca WBG Ravel Prokofiev String Quartets The Carmirelli Quartet

      The Carmirelli Quartet performs Ravel ’s “String Quartet”, and Prokofiev’s “String Quartet No. 2”. An English stereo pressing on the Decca Label (SXL 2231 stampers 1M/1M), the record labels have a full frequency stereophonic fatband, ffss logo, “Original recording by...” at 10’clock and a groove. The record is of excellent appearance, and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The cover has rubbed a little with a crease and the back has scalloped flipbacks. The inner bag, apart from some pencil marking, is excellent.
