SXL 2274 BEETHOVEN SYMPHONY 9 Ansermet DECCA WBG ED1 1E/1E

Ernest Ansermet with L'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande.Sutherland; Procter; Dermota; Van Mill et al.
England pressed Decca Records stereo LP, SXL 2274.
Earliest wide band grooved pressing with "Original Recording..." text and earliest 1E/1E matrix suffixes.
Vinyl visually a strong EX. Surfaces still have a high gloss and display just a very few superficial scuff marks.
Some spindle activity visible at centre spindle areas but not extensively so.
A slightly ticky issue however. The intros to both sides are slightly crackly with about three soft ticks to B1. The surfaces are underlyingly quiet and not distorted. Background noise is moderately infrequent and other than previously mentioned there are no loud or consecutive ticks. Large areas play nearer EX.
Labels are clean and undefaced.
Original inner sleeve in good shape but with overall creasing.
External sleeve EX with the exception of a ringwear darkening circle to top right corner of rear panel.
