Description
Rare Beethoven Symphony No.9 in D Minor Op.125 (Choral). L’Orchetre de la Suisse Romande conducted by Ernest Ansermet. Decca 1st Stereo pressing, ED1 Wide band grooved. ‘Original recording by’ text.
1961 Decca Records (Cat.No. SXL2274). Condition: Cover: Vg+ / Disc: Vg
The cover has some discolouration, especially to the back paper sleeve but overall is graded as Vg+
Visually the record is Vg+, it does have some surface marks none of which can be felt by running a finger lightly over them. The record has a couple of light ticks/crackles at the beginning of Side 1, there is also the occasional background crackle apparent in the quiet parts. There is a further couple of clicks at the start of 3rd movement. Side 2 also has some crackle to the opening movement and also a couple of clicks at the end. There are a further few clicks here and there but overall plays pretty well. Graded Vg.Please check out my other auctions as i am selling loads of other rare classical Lp's
