Description
Excellent condition copy of this rare 1960 release on Decca Records (SXL 2275) with its original Wide Band & grooved label design with "Original Recording By..." rim text - ED1. Ernest Ansermet conducts L'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande in performances of Bizet's Symphony in C Major; "Jeux d'Enfants" Petite Suite d'Orchestre, Op.22 and "La Jolie Fille de Perth" Suite.
Condition is excellent. The sleeve is in very good condition - clean and crisp with no creases, tears or seam splits. There is a faint pencil mark on the rear sleeve.
The vinyl is in very good condition but it has not been handled as well as it should have been. Both surfaces have a few noticeable scratches and scuffs. Playback is basically quiet with no big pops, ticks or clicks but both sides have a few crackles here and there and the occasional soft "plop." There are no skips or jumps.
