Description

This Auction is for The Lp - Bizet Symphony in C Major/Jeux D'Enfants/La Jolie Fille De Perth - Ernest Ansermet & L' Orchestre De La Suisse Romande. 

1960 Pressing on the Decca Records Label - SXL 2275 - Matrix No's ZAL 5055 2E & ZAL 5056 1L.

Side 1: SYMPHONY IN C MAJOR - 1st mov. Allegro, 2nd mov. Adagio, 3rd mov. Allegro vivace, 4th mov. Allegro vivace

Side2: JEUX D'ENFANTS - Petite Suite d'Orchestre Op.22 - Marche, Berceuse, Impromptu, Duo, Galop. LA JOLIE FILLE DE PERTH - Suite.  

Vinyl - Vg+ - Looks little played and retains a nice shine but does have some noticeable light hairlines and a few scuffs mainly noticeable on side 2:

Side 1: Plays Very Good throughout, Side 2: - some very light static crackle at start and also 2 minutes into the side there is a light audible click which lasts for about 2 minutes -no skips jumps etc.

Sleeve -Vg - Provided in original sleeve which shows some age related wear although nothing major - some discolouring  to rear of sleeve and also a small 1" cut on the spine - see pics.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
