SXL 2278 ED2 Bizet Symphony In C Major / Jeux D'Enfants / La Jolie Fille De Perth Ansermet UK Decca Fatband
L'Orchestre De La Suisse Romande conducted by Ernest Ansermet performs Bizet’s “Symphony In C Major”, “Jeux D'Enfants”, and “La Jolie Fille De Perth”. An English stereo pressing on the Decca Label (SXL 2275 stampers 2E/1L), the labels have a Full Frequency Stereophonic Sound fatband, ffss logo, Made in England by… at 10 o’clock and a groove. The record, apart from dust scuffs on side two, is of excellent appearance, and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The cover has rubbed and is a little grubby on the back. The original inner bag is a little grubby.
