Description
SXL 2302, wide band EDI 1K, 1K pressing. I'm not sure about this one. It distorts particularly in the loud passages. I have another copy and it's just the same. Maybe it will play better on your system. It could be that the very wide dynamic range of this lp was too much for most record players 45 years ago. Visually, the vinyl looks great (just 2 or 3 very hard to see soft marks) and if I graded this as such I would rate it very highly. The sleeve is at least excellent and is the thin flip-over Decca sleeve of the type that suggests this is a very early copy.
I am starting this at £1 with no reserve and as I've described the problem carefully I can't offer my usual returns policy this time.
