Description

This is another sale from a my collection of classical records, which includes early stereo rarities on Decca, Columbia, HMV and RCA.

1962 UK stereo pressing on Decca records of SXL 2303 by L'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande performing Faure's "Pelleas et Melisande", "Penelope" (prelude), "Masques et Bergamasques" and "Petite Suite" by Debussy, conducted by Ernest Ansermet. Label is grooved wide band. Sleeve is in lovely condition, laminate in great condition. Record and inner sleeve are both in really nice condition, visually near mint. It plays on my Linn Sondek virtually perfectly, no skips, jumps or repeated clicks,  just little crackles and occasional pop in places in places. Please note that I have not tried cleaning this record with a vinyl cleaning solution which may remove the crackles.
