Description

Excellent condition copy of this 1962 release on Decca Records (SXL 6001) with its original Wide Band & grooved label design with "Original Recording By..." rim text - ED1. Aram Khatchaturian conducts the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in a performance of his own Symphony No. 2 "The Bell."

Condition is excellent. The sleeve is clean and crisp with no tears or seam splits and only very minor creasing visible on the rear sleeve. The laminate is perfectly intact and the spine is clean, untorn and near perfect.

The vinyl is in fine condition ith no scratches, scuffs or abrasions. Playback is unaffected by any ticks, clicks or crackls; surface noise is low and there is no distortion and no jumps or skips.

This is a rare record in this condition and a superb performance of this rarely recorded work.
