Description
Many thanks for your interest in my records! I've collected records for over 30 years and as such sometimes take stock and realise how many duplicates I have accrued, and how many records I no longer listen to. I grade using the RRPG Record Collector grading system, though feel that I grade down if anything, please check my feedback for proof of this! I have sold many records (some incredibly rare ones in the 4 figures) over the years, so please rest assured that my gradings have been satisfactory so far! Though, If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me before leaving negative feedback. I haven't had negative feedback so far, and don't intend to start now if I can at all help it!
I'll combine records for the same price for up to 3 disks (double LPs count as 2!), and at as reduced a rate as I can beyond that! International bidders please ask, as I'll send them as cheaply as possible for you,but they must be sent tracked and insured.
Here we have both Grieg, and Schumann's respective Piano Concertos (Opus 16,and Opus 54 respectively) performed by JULIUS KATCHEN with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by ISTVAN KERTESZ.
This is a first edition from 1962 with wide-band and deep groove and more importantly the "Original Recording By..." text. And also regarding it's mother/laqcuer codes it's a very first 1B/1B copy too!
Record Condition: EX- lovely surfaces, with just a few very light surface hairlines visible when angled into strong direct light, and all inaudible.
Labels Condition: EX- Lovely crisp, clean labels with just a very little paper wear around the central spindle holes, really very nice!
Sleeve Condition: VG+ really nice copy, cared for carefully, with a little age realed discolouration, slight signsof careful handling, asmallamount of laminate bubbling near the spine, and a slight bit of light foxing to the opening mouth edges, thetop and bottom edges hold lovely and strong,and the spine is still square (with pinch-edges as it was manufactured) and beautifully legible and clear!
