This week I am doing an AMAZING extra set of WEDNESDAY auctions - all ending late Wednesday 2nd October! All from the same AWESOME collection I have recently been listing. Most are Mint / Played once (please see description below) - and of the VERY highest standards & rarity!
PLEASE NOTE - this week my auction listings, will look slightly different! This is because I have absolutely LOADS of items to list, and this is the quickest way to list them - whilst still retaining ALL the very important detail on condition, rarity etc (see all details below!). RARITY:- Super rare! Barely ANY copies sold on release, and this LP is now almost IMPOSSIBLE to locate! PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS A GENIUNE UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING! Not only does it have a Wide Band + Groove + Original Recording + 1E/1E matrixes, but MOST IMPORTANTLY it DOES NOT HAVE the later 2nd Press 'KT' tax coding on the label. The KT tax code was introduced in June 1963 - and as this LP was released well before that date, any copies with this on the label are obvious 2nd Pressings. However this one is a 100% GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING - with NO label tax coding, and is in absolutely STUNNING condition!

RECORD GRADING:- The record is in absolutely AWESOME condition and is VERY bright & shiny looking indeed! It has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 absolutely ULTRA light surface traces, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS AMAZING! The record plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO distortion, NO hiss, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL! The record must grade Excellent++++ if not MINT(Minus)! AWESOME RECORD!
SLEEVE:- The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'James Upton' Flipback Laminated Cover is in SUPERB condition! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (side words PERFECT!), NO splits, only VERY slight corner wear, NO rips, NO tears, VERY shiny laminate, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), only 2 or 3 absolutely TINY laminate lifts at the VERY edges, NO annotations, and NO writing! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering! Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in STUNNING condition with NO ringwear, NO rubbing, SUPERB flipbacks, NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, and NO writing! There is also a TINY record shop sticker in the bottom left corner on the cover back (easily removeable if so wished). The cover must grade Excellent(Minus) if not FULL Excellent! SUPERB COVER!
