Description
33rpm vinyl LP Record of SXL 6225 Mozart SYMPHONY NO 40 41 JUPITER featuring the New Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Carlo Maria Giulini. It was issued on the Stereo DECCA wideband grooved label in 1965 with 'Made in England' in the 10 o'clock position. First UK pressing. Matrices 1G/1G.
The record itself is graded at least excellent, with no more than the odd light surface mark visible under normal domestic lighting. Play-tested on an audio-technica turntable. Superb sound quality with no issues - a near mint playback.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels very clean. Light spider marks.
The outer sleeve is graded very good with light handling and storage wear, light age toning, light ring wear, some foxing along the top edge of the front cover. The pinched spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve is quite heavily age toned but has no splits or tears.
