Description
SXL 6238-41 WBG Vienna Chamber Music Festival Curzon Bosvkosky 4xLP Decca ED2. Condition is "Used"
Here is the First edition of this Decca box set on the wide band grooved ED2 label which is the first label for this release. It contains 4 records featuring the Music of Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and Hayden performed by the Vienna Octet, the Weller Quartet and the Vienna Mozart ensemble.
The box is in very good condition with some scuffing and a little staining in places and one area of damage to the top /back of the box as pictured in the last photo. the booklet is present and is in excellent condition and the records are all in Decca company inners with the blue printing on one side and a plain reverse side again in good condition.
The records do not look to have had much play as there is little evidence of spindle marks on them (some have none at all) and there are no noticeable scratches. However they do appear to at some point been cleaned and not allowed to dry properly and have a residue on them and dirt seems to have stuck to them in a couple of places. if this were not the case these would grade as near mint. I would say these would need a proper cleaning with the correct solutions and processes (I had a Machine which I sold a while ago or I would have done so my self and put these up for a higher price).

If you need any other info let me know. unfortunately I am not in a position to play test these records but again the staring bid reflects this.The Postage is set to reflect the fact that full insurance and proper packaging will be used . Offers over the staring bid please I have set it at less than half the retail price of this set
