SXL ?, Debussy, Ansermet, OSR, DECCA TEST PRESS LP
Debussy: Khamma - Petite Suite.
Ansermet and L'orchestre de la Suisse Romande. UK Decca grooved two sided stereo test pressing LP in plain sleeve with penned ZAL notations and performance details to top.ZAL 7291-1L and ZAL 7292-1L stamped to dead wax/run-off areas.
I at first presumed this was an SXL release, but cannot find a commercial release that features this exact coupling. SXL 2303 features the Petite Suite under Ansermet/OSR, and SXL 6167 features Khamma under Ansermet/OSR. There was a series of SXLs under the umbrella "Ansermet Conducts", featuring the works of various composers, and so this is also a possibility.
Vinyl in excellent condition. Hard to detect any evidence of marks around the spindle areas, and vinyl surfaces are free of marks, save for a few of the very tiniest of superficial sleeve removal scuffs. This has clearly been looked after and both vinyl and labels still have a nice undulled and as new gloss to them.
