A few days ago I was offered, from a deceased estate, a classical vinyl collection. The owner was in her 90's and her husband, who'd died in the mid-1960's, had collected original first pressings of UK, German, and Australian releases from about 1952 - 1965 (none were dated later than that)...AND...he had kept them in pristine (or very near) condition. Some looked like they had NEVER been played. She had kept them stored away neatly and safely ever since then. All had been kept in soft plastic covers the entire time and appeared to never have been even touched since way back then.

- Thin spine with no text on it 

- "Printed in England" on bottom flipback 

- Printing date on sleeve is October 1958 ("58.10") 

- Sleeve notes in English on back (by Lionel Salter)

CATALOG NUMBERS: 

- SXL 2037 on sleeve 

- SXLA - 2037 on labels 

OTHER INFORMATION: 

- Recorded 1 - 23 April 1958 in the Victoria Hall, Geneva 

- Track B5 is spelled "Minuet" on labels and "Menuet" on sleeve
