On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Syd Barrett called "The Madcap Laughs" and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Harvest label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS WAS SYD BARRETT'S FIRST & RAREST LP EVER (STRAIGHT AFTER LEAVING PINK FLOYD), AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1969 WHEN THIS LP WAS RELEASED, IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS HARVEST LABEL, 1ST PRESS NO 'EMI BOX' ON THE LABEL, 1ST PRESS 'GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' LABEL EDGE TEXT, 1ST PRESS 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD LAMINATED 'E.J.DAY' COVER - WITH THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS '6911' DATE CODE (NOVEMBER 1969!) ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Harvest 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in GREAT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is SHVL 765 on the 1st Press Harvest Label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a few VERY spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable.  This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 3 or 4 light hairlines, only 3 or 4 VERY light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO nasty loud pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some VERY slight background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!!  Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The 1st Press 'E.J.Day' Gatefold Laminated Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear (apart from a TINY area of 'touching in' on the rear back top edge), NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking!), and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO rubbing, NO ringwear, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
