Original laminated gatefold sleeve. General light handling wear with faint ring wear noticeable to the rear cover.
First Pressing Details:
Front laminated gatefold sleeve with the disc housed in the rear opening. Front opening is glued shut with no inner flap. Rear cover carries printing date 6911 (November 1969).
Green/yellow Harvest labels with no EMI logo and “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” text at 11 o’clock on the outer rim. “Syd Barrett” credit positioned above the Harvest logo at 9 o’clock.
Sleeve lists combined running time for tracks B4-B6 as 7:59.
Description:
Original UK first pressing of The Madcap Laughs on the Harvest label dating from 1970. This is the earlier no EMI logo/text label variation complete with original laminated gatefold sleeve.
The vinyl remains visually very clean and grades Excellent with strong clear playback throughout following careful play testing.
The laminated gatefold sleeve grades VG+ overall with general light handling wear and faint ring wear visible to the rear cover, remaining very presentable overall.
Original Harvest EMI company inner sleeve is also present.
Carefully cleaned and fully play tested prior to listing. Vinyl also checked carefully for warping and dishing. This copy remains very flat.
