Syd Barrett: "Barrett" - Harvest SHSP 4007. I had trouble identifying which pressing this was, so I submitted it to Vernon Fitch of the Pink Floyd Archives. In his opinion, it was pressed in 1972 using elements from both the 1st and 3rd pressings. It has a laminated flipback cover, which was used only for the 1st pressing. The front label has a small boxed EMI logo, which first appeared in the 3rd pressing. But the original 1st pressing label without the EMI logo was used for the back. An extremely unusual piece! I purchased this LP new at HMV London in 1972, played it once on a Thorens turntable to record it on reel to reel tape, then replaced it in the original inner sleeve and stored it on edge until now. The vinyl is glossy and pristine, with no scuffs or scratches. The laminated cover is in excellent condition, with a nice sheen and minor rubbing and ringing. No visible edge wear.
