Description
Syd Barrett was the original guitarist, vocalist, and a founding member of Pink Floyd. By the album 'More' (the soundtrack album that became Pink Floyd's third release), he was officially replaced by David Gilmour. His legacy and influence would be celebrated with the Floyd album 'Wish You Were Here', and especially "Shine On You Crazy Diamond [Parts I through IX]". Barrett went on to that great gig in the sky in 2006.
In 1993, a special 3 CD box aet of Barrett tracks was released, and titled 'Crazy Diamond'. A limited edition 7" EP also came out, and it features FOUR Barrett songs, from that box set, and it's on PINK vinyl! This comes with a really nice picture sleeve, featuring a great pic of Syd on the back, the song titles and credits, and some cool artwork on the cover! Two tracks were recorded in 1969, and two in 1970. Vinyl looks great, and is still all shiny and clean! Sleeve is also in great condition.
