If you are bidding for vinyl you are familiar with a number of grading standards. I follow Goldmine to the letter, grading conservatively vinyl, label, insert and cover. I have been listening to music all my life and collecting for the past 45+ years, so I understand how important accuracy is when describing the condition of an album being sold. My feedback rating reflects that precisely. I grade visually and spot check the audio quality playing back on a Goldring turntable with a Denon DL-103R cartridge, powered by a Conrad Johnson PV5 tube preamp, connected to a Almarro tube amp pushing a pair of Zu Omen speakers.

I can not listen to every record I own, so I have decided to part with those that I do not absolutely love or have doubles of. All the records I will be selling are from my personal collection or very special acquisitions from other private collections. I will be posting a little bit of everything from Rock to Reggae, Psych to Folk, Latin to Jazz and even Classical. Vinyl is Alive!

a) Looks: EX with a very nice sheen and a few hairliners that do not affect the sound. Labels are clean with no spindle ware.

b) Sounds: EX to VG+ with very little surface noise on two cuts in quiet moments, otherwise a nice clean play. 

Cover Rating: EX with a very nice glossy look and very little ware in the corners

About this recording: Syd Barrett was the genius that drove Pink Floyd at the beginning of their carrier with hits like See Emily Play. Unfortunately too many drugs dulled his ability to create hits, but it never kept him from recording what was going on in his mind. This one sounds great.
