Description
Very rare 1970 original first pressing of The Madcap Laughs by Syd Barrett. Harvest label with no EMI addition, and having "THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD", etc wording around the edge. The matricies are side one "SHVL 765 A-2G" and side two "SHVL 765 B-2G". The vinyl is in excellent condition. There are a few very light surface marks which are visible under halogen light, but having played the record the sound is superb even between tracks. The laminated gatefold sleeve is in very good condition apart from a tear near the bottom of the back cover about 5 inches long. There is a record ring on the back of the cover and the spine has a few small nicks. No returns.
